My last post made it clear: the market doesn’t negotiate with narratives. Only value freely chosen by others counts. That system lives or dies on one hard truth — it must be allowed to register both profit and loss.
Yet the same people pushing to “democratize the economy” are really just trying to abolish failure. Not out of kindness, but because failure inconveniences their worldview. Every poor outcome must be declared “unfair” and corrected by force. They cannot accept that failure is baked into the human experience.
Failure is the barometer. In business, in school, in life — it tells you what doesn’t work. It forces you to confront bad decisions and grow. As the saying goes: Success is not permanent, but failure is not fatal.
America, for all its warts, remains the greatest proof that a nation does not need to promise heaven on earth. It only needs to give people the best realistic chance to become their best. It has never claimed to eliminate failure — only to give every person the freedom to rise according to their effort, choices, and abilities.
Those who constantly cry “unfair” at unequal results are not defending justice. They are demanding a remake of reality itself. And when you try to engineer away failure, you don’t create fairness — you destroy the system that gave the most people the greatest opportunity in human history.
We understand there will be failure. That’s why we defend this system instead of tearing it down. Because once you remove the sting of loss, you also remove the engine of progress.
The loss function isn’t cruel. It’s honest. And honesty, not perfection, is what built this country.
Accountability. Assimilation. Allegiance.
Practiced permanently, prudently, pragmatically.
