If he’s strong, he’s insensitive
If he’s expressive, then he’s soft and weak
He has to be able to fix anything
Build any house
Protect any home
Provide for his family
He’s expected to have wisdom - share it and not falter
Alone in his thoughts...
He’s thankful he was taught well and hopes he does right
He trusts that his son will do right and his daughter will choose well
He understands, that at times he may have been harsh, hurtful and callous, but always loved true
And when his ledger is up for judgement...
