Look back—just from the start of this administration in January 2025, right through to now, March 2026. It’s not random noise. It’s a steady drumbeat, one narrative after another, always the same trick: drop the tiniest sliver of truth, then flood the rest with spin.
Early 2025—immigration hits first. One minute truth: ICE ramps up, deporting criminals—felons, gang members, no citizens shipped out. Crossings drop, releases hit zero for months.
Then twenty-three hours fifty-nine minutes: “ICE are fascists,” “families torn apart,” “human rights crisis,” “Trump’s cruelty.” They parade the sob stories—never the rap sheets.
January 2026 – Nicole Good blocks ICE, shields an illegal. One minute truth: “She’s obstructing law enforcement.”
Twenty-three hours fifty-nine minutes: “Brave mom,” “hero,” “victim of tyranny.” Meanwhile, Laken Riley’s mom cries on C-SPAN—no airtime. No outrage.
January 2026 – Alex Pretti resists agents, gun holstered, history of kicking federal cars. One minute truth: “He fought back, obstructed, had a weapon.”
Twenty-three hours fifty-nine minutes: “Kindhearted nurse,” “phone in hand,” “murdered by rogue feds.” No mention of the prior clash, the resistance, the “gun!” yell mid-scrum.
January 2026—Venezuela. One minute truth: US special forces (Delta, CIA) hit Caracas overnight—Operation Absolute Resolve. Quick as a lineless drive-thru: helicopters low, blowtorches on steel doors, Maduro and his wife nabbed before dawn. No big mess, no endless firefight—just in, out, done. Same Maduro indicted back in 2020 for narco-terrorism, cocaine floods, ties to cartels, friendly with China, sitting on the world’s second-biggest oil reserves. Warrant active, but nobody touched him till now.
Twenty-three hours fifty-nine minutes: “Imperialism,” “illegal abduction,” “war crime,” “Trump’s oil grab.” They scream about sovereignty—forget the fentanyl pouring in, the gangs he shielded, the oil he hoarded while his people starved.
Now—March 2026—Iran. One minute truth: “We’re striking nuclear sites, hitting proxies.”
Twenty-three hours fifty-nine minutes: “Unwinnable war,” “troops dying for nothing,” “America’s losing,” “endless quagmire.” No talk of why we went in—just despair.
And sometimes? No minute at all—just twenty-four hours straight of propaganda. Days. Weeks. “Gun violence” after Old Dominion—never “jihadist out early.” “Systemic racism” after every cop stop—never “he had a warrant.”
The pattern’s right there—no digging needed. If they spend one minute on the real thing—like “he was prohibited,” “she was unarmed,” “we’re defending allies”—then pivot hard to “but guns,” “but fascism,” “but we can’t win”? You’re in it.
Watch for the clock:
• “Gun violence” instead of “felon with illegal gun”?
• “Systemic oppression” when it’s a cop, silence when it’s a gang?
• “Tragic accident” for any death that doesn’t fit the villain?
• “Common-sense reforms” after every shooting—never “enforce what we have”?
If you see two of those? It’s not news. It’s the twenty-three hours fifty-nine minutes.
And next time they try it? You’ll hear the tick.
