At 95 —soon to be 96— Thomas Sowell continues to awaken minds and inspire millions with his unflinching clarity and courage.
My late father was the first man I ever truly looked up to: a brilliant lawyer with the heart of a frustrated comedian (a trait I inherited, like so many sons from their dads).
He instilled in me an unrelenting drive to always give my best, no matter the odds. In many ways, Sowell’s example echoes that same relentless pursuit of excellence and truth.
Both men remind me that real strength lies in wisdom, integrity, and never settling. I’m grateful for their legacies—and tired as I sometimes feel, they keep pushing me forward.
